WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Perform shipping and receiving functions, including, but not limited to the following:
- Verify deliveries against packing slips for accuracy and inspect for damage.
- Receive inventory into the accounting system of record.
- Identify, separate, label, and palletize deliveries by project.
- Support shipping and mobilization of material.
- Stage equipment orders for projects
- Facilitate return of equipment from projects
- Monitor and maintain uncommitted inventory and supplies.
- Perform tasks to ensure safety, organization, and cleanliness of the warehouse.
- Use tools such as a stacker and pallet jack.
- Communicate consistently and effectively with management, purchasing, engineering, sales, project management and installation teams.
- Provide support for delivery of materials to job site as needed.
- Assist with management of general building maintenance.
- Perform computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods.
- Inventory management, including supporting manual inventory counts.
- Address inventory control issues as they arise.
- Actively and collaboratively support logistic process optimization.
- Support Purchasing Team
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in logistics
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Familiarity with telecommunications preferred.
YOUR ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The physical environment requires the employee to work inside.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear; lift (overhead, waist level) from the floor, bending, frequently utilize near vision use for reading and computer use; occasionally move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, and frequently position self to maintain computers or other equipment as needed.
