POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for tracking and communicating specifics related to inbound and outbound shipments in an accurate and timely manner. Maintain accurate electronic and or paper files to optimize quality, service, and efficiency in accordance with company policies and procedures. Maintains a productive and respectful two-way dialogue with freight drivers and reports timely and accurately to supervisor of informed decisions and actions. You will verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments, prepare documents such as bills of lading/shipping orders and determine shipping methods for materials, using your knowledge of shipping procedures, regulations, routes, and rates to ensure shipments are delivered by designated deadlines. The ideal candidate must be bilingual (English/Spanish) with excellent communication and follow though skills,

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education:

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required

Experience:

Two years of experience in a manufacturing facility (shipping/ warehouse) required

Computer Skills:

Microsoft Office with a working knowledge of logistics software preferred
