We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk to join our team at our fabrication warehouse. The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for managing all aspects of outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in deliveries to our customers. This position requires someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and is committed to maintaining high standards of efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packing, labeling, and staging items for delivery
- Verify and document incoming and outgoing shipments according to company procedures
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries
- Ensure all shipping documentation is accurately completed and filed
- Inspect and maintain shipping supplies and equipment
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to prioritize shipments and resolve any issues that arise
- Keep accurate records of inventory levels and update inventory systems as needed
- Assist with receiving and inventory management tasks as necessary
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift Experience
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred
- Familiarity with shipping software and inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime as required
- Forklift certification is a plus
Xtreme Manufacturing produces 16 telehandler models, which are assembled and sold in North America. They also produce E-Z Loader truck beds at their headquarters and assembly facility in Henderson, Nevada.
Pay: $18 - $20 / hour
