Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Receive and review customer orders for accuracy and completeness.
Prepare shipping documents such as bills of lading, shipping labels, and packing lists.
Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
Ensure that shipments comply with relevant regulations and requirements.
Inspect outgoing shipments to verify contents and ensure they are properly packaged.
Maintain accurate records of outgoing shipments, including tracking numbers and delivery status.
Communicate with customers and internal teams to provide updates on shipment status and address any issues or concerns.
Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed.
Keep work area clean and organized to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
Proficiency in using computer software for data entry and record-keeping.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
Forklift certification or experience is a plus.
Education:
High School
Experience:
0-1 years
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a shipping clerk or similar role.
Familiarity with shipping and logistics processes and procedures.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
