Job Description
Shipping associates receive and fulfill requests for sample collection kits as received from clinicians and customer service representatives. Shipping associates are responsible for the resolution of all issues associated with sample collection kit requests to ensure that all kits are received by the client as requested, in a timely manner. Shipping associates are also responsible for maintaining the shipping warehouse and stocking all consumables used by any area of the shipping department. Shipping associates report directly to the Associate shipping Manager.
Job Duties
Daily tasks include assembly and shipping sample collection kits according to customer-submitted orders. Addressing customer inquiries regarding pending sample collection kit orders and shipments. Additional duties include assisting with the maintenance of the warehouse and inventory. Shipping associates are also responsible for the timely completion of all other duties as assigned by the supervisor(s) and/or Operations manager.
Shipping associates must possess a high school diploma (or equivalent certification).
REQUIRED SKILLS:
· Sorting outgoing packages/ orders
. Attention to detail.
· Receiving, stocking, and stacking.
· Pulling, packing, and loading.
· Good written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong sense of time organization and urgency.
· Able to work independently and within a team.
Monday – Friday 9:30 am – 5:30 pm
