Shipping and Receiving Warehouse

Job Description/Responsibilities:

• Completes shipments by loading and unloading of trucks accurately and in a timely manner.
• Safely perform warehouse duties with the use of a stock picker, forklift, and pallet jacks.
• Prepares orders by pulling materials, packing boxes, and labeling them on a daily basis using a portable RF scanner. Completes finished orders by moving to shipping/will call areas. Always processing accurately and efficiently.
• Receive in materials, sorting, verifying order accuracy of items, labeling properly and restocking shelves with while using an RF scanner.
• Manage stock and inventory control.
• Work fulfilling tasks needed in the distribution warehouse daily.
• Completes deliveries by a driving truck or van to and from vendors or customers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient operation of the warehouse. Keep doorways, driveways, and dock areas, safe and clean. Adhere to all OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT, and other required guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift, push, and slide boxes that may weigh up to 75lbs.
• Work full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Must have a current state driver’s license, and clean driving record.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and with others.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills, and be able to speak English fluently and maintain a positive teamwork environment.
• Needs to be punctual, dependable, and with a reliable commute.
• You must have at least 1 year of experience working at a warehouse and operating a forklift.
