Shipping and Receiving Manager

SUMMARY:

Responsible for the process of staging, loading and unload finished product and raw materials. Maintains finished goods, WIP, and raw material inventory. Controls and directs via the following:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Enter accurate daily packing and machining production counts.

· Enter finished goods locations and move and verify finished goods locations to ensure accuracy of ERP data.

· Schedule daily truck and freight carriers via phone and online

· Guide the processing of pick tickets.

· Produce accurate shipping paperwork and labels and tracking numbers

· Print material and plating certifications for required shipment, attach or email material and plating certifications as needed per specific customer specifications.

· Schedule and coordinate deliveries and pickups of subcontractors.

· Maintain proper visibility and counts of outsourced parts.

· Receive into the ERP system purchase orders from outside vendors.

· Maintain cycle count accuracy of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.

· Process UPS and Fed Ex shipment and order supplies as needed.

· Ensure no damaged product is sent out and no damaged raw material is accepted in.

· Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)

· Operate forklift, trucks and handcarts – as necessary

· Complete daily forklift logs.

· Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on forklift, truck and or handcarts.

· Communicate with operators from other departments.

· Supervise and direct Shipping Clerk/and other laborers.

· Clean and maintain work area.

· Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.

· Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or equivalent.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENT:

· Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.

· Forklift certification and applicable state certification for truck operation.

· Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.

· Ability to lift up to 30 pounds required.

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
