On-site, Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm

Position Overview
ProAmpac is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to be the primary point of contact to our customers in the Shipping and Receiving department. The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator is a subject matter expert in domestic and international shipments, and must be able to handle competing deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Position Summary
Responsible for shipping/warehousing operations including, but not limited to safe working conditions, training of shipping/receiving personnel and warehousing functions.
Essential Duties and Tasks
Specific Job Duties:
Direct a team to achieve daily goals through employee engagement.
Maintain storage area by organizing floor space, adhering to storage design and recommending improvements.
Coordinate and oversee all shipping logistics, act as point person for shipping, receiving and inventory functions.
Serve as back-up for shipping/receiving and warehouse personnel.
Report food safety concerns
Food Safety – Maintain a focus on food safety at all times, as outlined in our GMP policy under the guidance of SQF requirements.
Maintain work area per food safety requirements.
Subject matter expert for domestic and international shipments.
General Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse Duties:
Ensure inventory/transactionaccuracy and help to minimize inventory value (MDR’s, Cycle Counting, etc)
Perform daily housekeeping duties as assigned
Perform material handling duties to include but not limited to; driving fork trucks, hand trucks and pallet jacks.
Partner with and support otherdepartments.
Follow all ISO policies and procedures

Work primarily in a indoor environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. afety shoes and vision protection required on the production floor at all times.
This role operates in a professional environment that requires some exposure to a manufacturing environment. Employee is rarely exposed to non-toxic/nuisance smells from chemicals, airborne dust, moving mechanical parts, high noise levels and hot/humid environmental conditions in the manufacturing area during extremely hot summer months.

Requirements
Qualifications, Education and Experience
Equivalent combination of experience and/or education required
Three to five years’ warehousing experience, including systems experience (Syteline preferred).
Must be able to read, write and fluently speak English; must be able to perform basic Math. Communication and computer skills required.
Able to work well with others in a team environment.
Able to adjust to changing operating conditions quickly and efficiently.
Strong interpersonal and computer skills required.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. on a regular basis.
