SalarySummary:
Under general supervision and following established procedures and methods to ensure conformance to specifications: receive incoming parts/materials, and perform shipping functions. Provide support for various assigned activities in the Quality department and support of other departments as appropriate. Maintain appropriate records.
Essential Job Functions:
- Receiving & counting incoming parts/materials verify against packing slip, purchase order, and other records
- Transfer parts into inventory via computer ERP system and physically to inspection or stock location
- Unload and transport materials following accepted operating and safe practice procedures
- Participate in daily inventory cycle counts
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to help with shipping when needed
- Willingness to learn domestic and international shipping functions
- Perform other duties and assignments
Physical Activities Required to Perform Essential Functions:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently, operate a forklift, climb a ladder, and maneuver around stored boxes
- Write by hand and keyboard skills
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills required
- Visually needed for close detail work and computer use
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in manufacturing preferred but not required
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with internal and external customers
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
