Dorsey has an opening for a Clerical Associate in Elba, Alabama.

Duties and Responsibilities

• As the first impression for the company, provide a pleasant and professional attitude
• Coordinate shipping of trailers with customers and carriers
• Communicate stacking orders to the grounds team
• Complete the Bills of Lading completely and accurately
• Verify VINs on trailers being shipped with Bills of Lading before releasing the driver
• Update daily reports accurately
• Transfer completed documents to the proper departments
• Respond to request for information on a timely basis
• Maintain the Finished Trailers Inventory and update locations as needed
• Perform the other relevant duties as defined by management

Education and Experience Needed

• High school diploma
• Microsoft Office proficient
• Formal computer training an advantage
• Accurate keyboard skills and proven ability to enter data at the required speed
• Knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation
• Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures
• Organized
• Detail oriented
• Self-driven
• Ability to work in a team environment
