Shipping And Finishing Position

Job Summary: This position is responsible for shipping and finishing products created in our facility in a timely and efficient fashion.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

· Assemble and ship merchandise or material using computer software

· Arrange appropriate transportation of products

· Assist customer service with shipping inquiries

· Applying fasteners to product, including pins, magnets, adhesive, etc.

· Quality control – check names and other information for accuracy and compare to list provided

· Package orders for shipping

· Work with equipment when necessary, including machinery, bevelers, corner rounders, etc.

· Adhere to all safety regulations.

· Ability to read and understand work order instructions.

· Performs other job duties as assigned to meet production needs.

· Able to handle daily volume of over 1,000 packages with speed an accuracy

Required Job Qualifications/Experience

· Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or other related fields

· Ability to handle physical workload

· Ability to multitask and prioritize

· Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment

· Comfortable operating a computer

· Strong organizational skills

· Excellent spelling aptitude

· Able to determine if color is accurate on product for quality control

· Fine motor skills for handling small products

Preferred Job Qualifications:

· Previous shipping experience

· Willingness to help others and seek out additional work

· Desire to learn new things and processes
