Shipper/Packer

SE Sales is an inclusive, rapidly growing, family owned private label snack company located in Lapeer Michigan. For 20 years we have specialized in providing high quality snacks to various other businesses with their name and/or logo on the packaging. Our goal is to Increase brand recognition and loyalty by providing quality private label products to companies with premium customer service. We provide a safe and comfortable work environment by the fair treatment and respect of all people. Our facility is newly renovated and is USDA, MDARD and FDA inspected.

Many of our products are packaged from bulk in our on site cleanroom. We are looking for a Shipper/Packer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and shipping outgoing orders as well as packing bulk food product into smaller packaging. The ideal candidate will have experience with food safety practices and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and the ability to lift heavy objects are also necessary for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods.
• Verify and keep records product lot numbers and quality.
• Pack, seal, label, and affix postage to prepare materials for shipping.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Follow food safety guidelines.
• Prepare outgoing customer orders for shipping.

Requirements/Preferences:

• Basic Computer skills required.
• Must be able to lift 40+ pounds.
• Must be able to work around food product containing nuts and other food allergens.
• Prior cleanroom work experience preferred.
• Experience with using Intuit Quickbooks preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 – 28 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
