Job Overview:
This position is responsible for the accurate preparation of products for outbound shipment and for receiving inbound materials in a warehouse and manufacturing environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- High attention to detail in verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for delivery.
- Perform all receiving functions as described in the raw material operating procedures. Including matching the received materials to the Magnolia purchase order, verification of product weight, unit counts, check for damages, and verify incoming product label for correctness.
- Compare incoming and outgoing shipments to bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records to accurately verify information.
- Stage all incoming materials in quality control holding area until the product is confirmed and released by the Quality Control department.
- Ship verified products as described on the work orders (i.e. product name, batch number, package size, order count, special instructions as required by AS 9100 documents and specific customer PCDs, etc.). Confirm customer specifications.
- Organize materials to their correct location in compliance with FIFO methods while using a forklift or manually lifting materials up to 50lbs.
- Support inventory management while using a Five-S-Sustainability module for inventory control.
- Actively participate in troubleshooting processes and equipment problems as well as completing all necessary paperwork associated with investigations, deviations, and shipping / receiving instructions.
- Support continuous improvement activities to enhance the Company’s Shipping & Receiving Department.
- Understand all hazardous material handling and documentation as described by United Nations (UN), Department of Transportation (DOT) and International Air Transportation Association (IATA).

Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be able to speak English fluently as well as read and understand written and verbal instructions and follow directions.
- Must be able to use scales and accurately weigh raw materials.
- Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations using a calculator to determine accurate weights and measurements.
- Must have prior forklift operation experience.
- Must have basic computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Must be willing and able to operate in a team environment.
- Must be able to adapt easily to changes in schedule, priority, or assignment, sometimes on short notice.
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 3+ years of warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

- All candidates are required to pass a drug screening and background check and must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States once an offer for employment is made.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
- This is a chemical plant environment.
- Must use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by safety policies.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, and sitting on moving forklift.
