We are looking for a committed, energetic leader Shift Supervisor who will be responsible for filling in for other Shift Supervisors when needed at Avivo VillageAvivo Village works to house unsheltered individuals in a temporary tiny home with the hopes of securing long-term housing within 90 days.  The role of the On-Call Shift Supervisor is to ensure smooth running day-to-day operations on all covered shifts as needed, at Avivo Village.  Tasks include but are not limited to coordinating with Managers to schedule coverage plans, managing resident relationships, supporting resident needs, and restocking operation supplies, supporting all the contracts/partnerships, creating, implementing, and tracking staff training requirements, overseeing Electronic Health Records, and collaborating with Avivo Village Program Leadership, to ensure effectiveness of all services. 

 

Primary shifts needing coverage is 3rd shift and weekends.  Must have availably and willingness to provide coverage during these times.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

  • Provide work direction for staff for assigned shift (which could vary). 
  • In collaboration with the Program Manager, help support and maintain programming, ensuring best practices are being used. 
  • Sustain service delivery grounded in culturally-response, person-centered, and evidence-based practices; employ holistic approach. 
  • Coordinate program staff efforts to achieve goals and instill a sense of accountability among team members. 
  • Monitor, measure, and report on operational issues, opportunities, plans, and achievements to Program Manager. 
  • Assist in the implementation of program policies and procedures in collaboration with leadership team. 
  • Ensure compliance with program contracts and grant agreements; maintain outcome-based statistics and licensing and certification requirements; and utilize Procentive to monitor program outcomes. 
  • Promote effective quality management of programs including, supervision, file auditing, staff training and performance, policies & procedures, outcome development & measurement, and quality improvement. 

 

Qualifications
  • High school diploma required. 
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in the field providing direct client care.    
  • Minimum of 2-years’ experience providing work direction/supervision, preferably in a behavioral health setting.  
  • Experience with and/or commitment to working in a diverse, continuum of services in a fast-paced, growing organization. 
  • Experience with and/or a demonstrated commitment to developing and delivering culturally responsive harm reduction, trauma informed services. 
  • Experience with electronic health records. 
  • Able to pass DHS background check.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License, car insurance and a personal vehicle.

 

PREFERRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. 
  • Work experience in a culturally diverse environment.  
  • Experience with programs serving individuals with dual diagnoses and who have experienced homelessness.
