Position Title: MDM Customer (STEP) Supervisor

Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 / year

Other Forms of Compensation: Yearly Bonus

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Schedule : Monday - Friday (Hybrid schedule)

Job Summary

The MDM Customer (STEP) Supervisor supports Canteen’s enterprise-wide data setup, across multiple software platforms. This position works with processes, improvements, and escalations with data setup and/or integrations. In addition, the position supervises Associates who direct and oversee efforts to structure, cleanse, monitor, and analyze master data across Canteen and key back-office systems (ERP, CRM, etc.).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensures master data integrity in key systems and maintains the processes to support the data quality.

  • Develops and documents processes with other functional data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity.

  • Defines and implements data strategy, policies, controls, and programs to ensure the enterprise data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable.

  • Tracks, reviews, and reports on all requests: quantity, speed of completion, and follow up.

  • Handles escalated issues and provides daily direction, coaching, and training to the team.

  • Manages ongoing support for STEP within the MDM and Data Management team.

  • Manages reports and data integrity issues for the team to resolve.

  • Manages ongoing initiatives to define, cleanse, and integrate master data sets across the organizations.

  • Identifies areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required.

  • Without a bachelor’s degree, three years of business experience in data management or data administration, or equivalent time spent in a business setting requiring data management or data administration and processes is required. With a bachelor’s degree, two years of data management or data administration experience is required.

  • On-the-job experience with maintaining positive client relationships / relationship-building experience.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Analytical and intuitive judgment and make sound decisions.

  • High level of proficiency in MS Excel.

  • Ability to use a report writing program.

  • Professional composure in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment.

    Preferred:

  • On-the-job Supervisor experience.

  • Experience in Stibo/STEP and/or SAP/HANA.

  • Experience with JDE/OneCup/OneMarket/Ivend.

  • Minimum of 5 years of Systems Experience.
