Job Description
AEPS provides facilities support and security services for government and commercial customers. Our team includes armed and unarmed security personnel, as well as professionals providing investigative services, facilities support services, grounds maintenance and landscaping, military family housing maintenance, and hospital housekeeping.

-This position is an armed position responsible for supervising the Guard II Officers. This position reports to the AEPS Captain.
- Supervise Guard II employees
- Conduct Guard Mount
- Conduct unannounced post inspections.
- Ensure shift personnel are efficiently trained and skills match assigned duties, to include on-site-specific duties.
- Conduct orientation for newly assigned Guards.
- Ensure shift personnel are covered for rest and meal breaks.
- Administer on-the-spot corrective action to personnel under their supervision.
- Respond to emergency conditions within assigned area of responsibility and take corrective action in accordance with Post Orders and in conjunction with the Captain and/or local fire or police agencies.
- Observe and enforce rules and regulations governing assigned post buildings and grounds. Perform duties as stated in post orders.
- Responsible for manning scheduled shifts and having the ability to call-in and/or reassign Guards to cover all posts to maintain continuance of operations.
- Responsible for approval of shift swap and recommendations for disciplinary actions.
- Collect and evaluate all reports submitted by security personnel; write reports and maintain logs/forms as required.
- Responsible for maintaining the RFI for the security department and certified to inventory/issue duty weapons.
- May perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Captain.

Education Requirements (Any)High School Diploma or Equivalent from an Institution accredited by the US Dept. of Education
Certification Requirements (All)-Weapons permit
-High School Diploma/ GED
-CPR/First Aid/AED certificates
-Must be a US Citizen
-Must have reached the age of 21 by time of employment
-Shall have a background with a minimum of five years of successful experience in field supervision (civilian community law enforcement, military service law enforcement, or commercial/industrial security force service
-Supervisor should be able to obtain the same level of certification as a PSO and maintain those certification during employment
-Must be Lautenberg compliant
