Shift Supervisor 1St, 2Nd, And 3Rd Shift

1st, 2nd, 3rd Shift extrusion plastics manufacturing team to work safely to manufacture quality product, achieve production schedule. This position is instrumental in providing direction and coaching to a shift lead and a small team of operators. Supervisors adopt a hands-on, “Go and See” management style to ensure the team has everything it needs to be successful.

Overview of the Position

· Direct the job assignments to the operators and blend tech; and supervise shift quality techs, maintenance techs, and material handlers.

· Hold team accountable for performing their directed tasks and ensure team members are achieving production requirements while adhering to safety and quality requirements.

· Monitor and examine extruded products to check for conformance to specifications.

· Conduct safety, quality and 5-S audits daily.

· Verify production tracking paperwork, record any non-conforming materials, and ensure raw and finished materials are properly packaged, labeled and scanned to location.

· Oversee that equipment set-ups and change-overs are done according to set-up parameters.
