Capital Tacos, the nationally-awarded, fast-casual Tex-Mex chain, is now hiring entry level store management positions at multiple new store openings.
Our Shift Leaders are on a path to one day becoming a General Manager within our system or even a Managing General Partner.
Shift leads are responsible for running a team of 4-8 team members to deliver the most amazing food available anywhere Atlanta in a timely manner and in a clean, inviting store. Our shift leads get fantastic training in everything from proper kitchen prep techniques to core managerial skills and everything else required to successfully operate a scratch kitchen fast casual restaurant.
Capital Tacos was recently named one of the Top 40 restaurants in the nation by QSR Magazine. The list of awards Capital Tacos has won over the years is far too numerous to mention but include being named a Top 3 Taco in the US (Foursquare/Business Insider), Top 2 Place to Eat In Tampa (Yelp!), Top Taco in Florida (MSN), and Top Inexpensive Eat in Tampa (Tampa Bay Times), and are featured by local and regional TV (media, newspapers, influencers, etc.) regularly.
Our award-winning menu is highlighted by dozens of signature chef-created items, made from scratch, with home-made recipes each and every day, that can be enjoyed as either tacos, burritos, bowls, salads or nachos. Our home-cut chips and award-winning queso, Mexican street corn (on the husk!), hand-spiced fries, and desserts are also fan favorites.
It all began in late 2013, with a cozy corner store (without a sign) in Land O'Lakes. It didn't take long for the local secret that is Capital Tacos to get out.
After our first full year, we were recognized as having a Top 3 Taco Shop in the entire United States by Foursquare/Business Insider AND as being the 2nd Best Place To Eat in Tampa & St. Petersburg by Yelp! The Tampa Bay Times has recognized us as a Top 50 Restaurant and Top 10 Cheap Eat three years running, and MSN ranked us The Top Taco in Florida.
By 2015, Capital Tacos was awarded as the 2nd Best Place To Eat in Tampa & St. Petersburg by Yelp! and as a Top 3 Taco Shop in the entire United States by Foursquare/Business Insider. Soon, by popular demand, came new stores in Wesley Chapel and New Port Richey.
Capital Tacos food is freshly prepared and made-from-scratch, and served in a quick, affordable, friendly way. In other words, we like to #keepitcapital.
