Full job description

We are looking for Shift leaders who are looking to make a career change or who want to get into a restaurant with growth potential. We want people who want to learn how to be a server. We want people who can take and make good notes. We want people who can plan ahead of what they need to do and what they want to do. We want people who can work with others as a team and help them get the job done.

Job Duties:

• Take orders from customers while paying attention to details such as food preferences, dietary restrictions, and size/style of dishes
• Prepare food to customers’ specifications
• Efficiently handle cash and credit cards while keeping a pleasant demeanor and- a positive attitude towards customers
• Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
• Understand our culture at Wayback Burgers and do whatever it takes to create a positive and memorable guest experience
• Balancing high volume with high quality
• Read tickets to determine what/when items need to be prepared
• Clean station floors, counters, tools, cutting boards, and preparation surfaces to ensure station is clean and sanitized at all times
• Participating in ongoing training and development
• Greet customers as they enter and provide an exceptional experience
• Comply with all health and safety standards of the store
• Answer any questions about our menu or products
• Answer any requests from customers (e.g. finding products, answering questions about products, etc.)
• Other duties as assigned (e.g., cross-training, inventory control, etc.)
• Money counting

Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 an hour/based on experience

Job type: Part-time/Full time

Shift and schedule

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Restaurant experience preferred
• Basic math: 1 year (Preferred)
