Sheeter Operator - 2Nd Shift 2Pm-10Pm (S1)

Hourly base is $40,560 a year.

Overtime available.

SUMMARY
The operator must be familiar with all aspects of the sheeting machine. Duties include knowing the preventive
maintenance procedures of the machine. The operator is also responsible for overseeing the duties of the sheeter
material handler. All paperwork pertaining to the job must be accurate and filled out properly before completing the
job. Good communication with all departments is a must to maintain a good productive workflow.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. A sheeting Factory Ticket (FT) is submitted to the sheeting department.
2. The FT contains all the necessary information for the sheeting operation.
3. The operator must be able to understand all the information that is on the FT.
4. When the instructions have been read and evaluated, the operator then instructsthe assigned sheeter material
handler which roll stock should be pulled from inventory.
5. Once the roll stock is in place, the operator is responsible for the correct webbing of the sheeting machine.
6. After the sheet is set up according to specifications, the Operations Manager is called for the final approval.
Must get okay to run the job from the Operations Manager.
7. Throughout the sheeting operation each load is checked for the following:sheetsize, caliper,square,substrate,
or any imperfections that occur during the course of the run.
8. The operator is responsible to assure all loads that are completed are marked with all the proper identification before being placed in the warehouse.
9. A forklift and clamp truck training program must be completed so that the operation of the vehicles can be
done safely in everyday production of the sheeter.
10. Works with the Sheeter Material Handler.
11. The operator is responsible for all aspects of the machine during the shift ensuring all safety policies are being
adhered to by themselves and the Material handler, ensuring quality expectations are being met, and
Productivity goals are being achieved.
12. The operator must have the ability to drive multiple PIVs (clamp truck & rider dollies) in close proximity to
pedestrians, machinery, raw materials, and work‐in‐process material.
13. The operator will assist during the threading up of the machine and may be required to be on a ladder 5 feet or
higher, up to 10 feet
