Job Description
- This position requires a basic knowledge of aircraft structures, fastening systems, procedures, and techniques. Will work closely with Lead Technicians to organize Client and set priorities for involved projects. Must be competent at working from drawings, blueprints, and written instructions.
- Job duties will vary each day and are designated by the Team Leader in charge of the project. May be required to work independently or lead small projects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Perform involved, extensive, and precise Sheet Metal functions on the airframe and associated components.
- Maintain quality control on all aspects of assigned projects.
- Coordinate with other crews working on aircraft to minimize interference and ensure smooth workflow.
- Provide input to and cooperate with Engineering and Quality Assurance in development and documentation of modifications and repairs.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibility
- Must perform all work in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration guidelines.
- Must follow verbal and written instructions from assigned Team Leader.
- Follow all company and safety rules during the performance of duties.
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Routine walking, bending and squatting or sitting.
- Routing or repetitive physical motion with arms and hands.

- Personal hand tools supplied by the mechanic.
- Pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment.
- Jacks, stands, lifts, and other support devices.
- Tugs, power carts, and other engine powered equipment.
