Job Duties:
- Examine specifications of order using blueprints, drawings, and/or work orders, to determine characteristics of finished item, materials to be used, and machine setup requirements.
- Fabricate work piece as determined by work order specifications.
- Examine work piece visually, by touch, or using tape rule, calipers, or gauges to ensure product meets desired standards.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED (Community college study a plus)
- A minimum of one year of Sheet Metal fabrication experience, or six months of experience with related trade school certification.
- Knowledge of machines such as press brake, punch press, fiber laser and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Applicants must have the ability to read, speak and write English.
- Physical Requirements (Ability to do the following up to 10 hours per shift):
- Complete assessment testing to be administered by Production Group Lead
- Walk, stand, sit, bend, twist/turn, kneel, squat, crawl
- Reach outward or above the shoulder
- Lift, carry, push, or pull 15-45 pounds
- Repetitive use of hands and fingers
- Depth perceptions required
- Ability to distinguish basic colors and shades of color
