Job Description:
Purpose Statement: The purpose of the Technology Teacher Assistant role is to help with many technological needs within the school daily. The primary role of the technology assistant will be to set up, maintain, and support teachers / students with educational technology needs.
Essential Functions of the Job

• Managing the wireless networks, iPads, computers, Newline boards, promethean boards, and projectors.
• Work with the central office technology team to purchase and renew software, app licenses, or schedule tech assistance outside of Maryville City Schools.
• Take inventory of staff and student technology components and prepare them for the upcoming school year.
• Manage the Seesaw student learning platform.
• Manage and subscribe to subscription-based services for individual classrooms, grade levels, or the entire school.
• Assist teachers and provide trouble shooting with Microsoft outlook
• Manage STAR and Iready Testing
• Prepare and share pertinent information during faculty meetings regularly.
• Fill in as a part-time substitute teacher when we are short staffed in other areas of the school.
• Manage radios and headphones.
• Work with Gallaher technologies to assist with intercom maintenance and issues.
• Work the tardy desk at the font of the school daily
• Manage the Sam Houston Instagram account.
• File and keep the Responsible Use Policies for all students and staff within the building.
• Keep a log of students who do and do not have media releases within the building.

• Work alongside central office to manage PowerSchool grades for our third-grade students.
• Fill in as a special's Teacher Assistant for special projects
• Serve in an afternoon dismissal role with students
• Manage the TV by the front of the school to keep relevant pictures up for display
• FLSA non-exempt
