Seeking experienced Sewing Machine Operators! The Sewing Machine Operator safely operates a Sewing Machine to join, reinforce, decorate, or perform related Sewing Machine tasks in the manufacture of garments.

$1,000 BONUS AFTER COMPLETION OF PROBATIONARY PERIOD!

Full-Time; Monday - Friday, 7am-3:30pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspects equipment to ensure it is operating properly and mounts needles and/or attachments as needed for the project
Monitors equipment while in operation to detect defects immediately
Places spools of thread, inserts bobbins, and threads ends through guides and components
Properly positions items under needles
Sews assigned pieces as directed
Attaches buttons, hooks, zippers, fasteners, or other accessories as directed
Performs specialized or automatic Sewing Machine functions such as buttonhole making or tacking.
Cuts excess material or thread from finished products

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to operate a Sewing Machine
Ability to use hand tools such as scissors
Ability to count
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
