- Work collaboratively in a team environment to set-up and stage product to enable the production of a safe, quality product that meets product specifications.
- Follow time and attendance guidelines in accordance with the employee handbook.
- Ability to regularly lift and / or carry up to 55 pounds individually or up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to squat and bend occasionally while lifting up to 55 pounds during shift.
- Capable of accurately operating equipment and various machinery safely using basic controls.
- Tolerant of seasonally very warm temperatures.

- Practice safe lifting techniques, bending and lifting with your legs not your back.
- Pivot with your feet avoiding twisting at the waist.
- Be aware of your surroundings, watching for forklift traffic and trip hazards such as pallets or cords.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the job you are doing.
- Maintain proper guards and safety devices when working with machinery and on catwalks.
- Never operate equipment for which you have not been properly trained or certified for.

- Preassemble and stage product for the following day's production based on scheduled batching.
- Assist Forklift Drivers, Inventory and the Warehouse Manager as time allows.
- Stage cheese, ingredients, and materials as determined by the production schedule.
- Pre-stage barrel cheese for start-up.
- Maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Have a high aptitude for numbers and minor calculations.
- Complete forklift safety training.
- Complete the daily forklift operator checklist prior to using the forklift during your shift.
- Operate a forklift to move ingredients and finished product.
- Assist with raw material inventory management following FIFO.
- Report any suspicious activity related to food defense.
