nuArch is currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented ServiceNow QA Analyst to join our team. This role offers the flexibility of remote work, but the applicant must reside in the United States.
The role is available on both W2 and C2C basis, with a preference for C2C. This is a contract position initially set for a 6-month duration, with a high probability of extension.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of ServiceNow applications and platforms through meticulous testing and quality assurance practices. As a ServiceNow QA Analyst, you will play a crucial role in identifying bugs, defects, and ensuring that all ServiceNow solutions meet or exceed the defined standards and business requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure that ServiceNow applications and integrations work as expected.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts to support regression testing, functional testing, and load testing of the ServiceNow platform.
- Work closely with the development team to understand new features and functionalities, creating test cases that cover all aspects of functionality.
- Perform manual testing as needed, including exploratory, smoke, and ad-hoc testing to identify system vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
- Utilize ServiceNow's reporting and analysis features to track and report on bugs, defects, and other issues identified during testing phases.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure that quality assurance processes are integrated throughout the development lifecycle.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve product quality, system performance, and user experience based on testing results.
- Stay updated with the latest testing tools, methodologies, and industry best practices to enhance QA processes and efficiency.
- Manage the defect lifecycle, from discovery through resolution, ensuring that all issues are properly documented, prioritized, and communicated.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA testing, with specific experience in testing ServiceNow platforms or similar ITSM solutions.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes, including automated testing tools.
- Experience with scripting and automation in ServiceNow, using JavaScript or similar scripting languages.
- Knowledge of ITSM, ITIL frameworks, and how they are applied within ServiceNow.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify issues and propose solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate test findings and collaborate with team members.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
