Job Description Summary
- The Servicemark Project Engineer provides technical and administrative support to improve operational processes and procedures; professionally and accurately coordinates project-related documents; establishes and maintains project files to ensure document control throughout the cycle of a project.
- In this role, you will be on a team of talented construction professionals, working to turn your client’s vision into reality. You will use your technical skills and people skills to collaborate with a wide spectrum of people in the industry (clients, architects, general contractors, brokers, property managers, and subcontractors) as you build your portfolio.
- You will experience all aspects of tenant service projects while working as a valued member of the team. No two days (or projects) will be exactly the same, which leads to continuous learning and development.
Reporting Relationships
- The Project Engineer reports directly to and is fully accountable to the Servicemark Workflow Manager. There is an informational reporting relationship with Servicemark Project Managers, Servicemark Superintendents, Servicemark Foremen, and Accounting.
Essential Functions
- The principal responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but are not limited to, the following :
- Project Preparation and Set-Up
- Assist Project Team with preparation of bid documentation, as necessary.
- Issue and track execution of Subcontracts.
- Assist Project Team in setting up new job profiles in Sage Service Management preferred.
- Assist Project Team in preparing Subcontractor Lists.
- Assist Project Team in preparing letters of intent/subcontracts/requests for insurance as needed.
- Coordinate building access.
- Project Maintenance and Close-Out
- Track insurance and contracts.
- Assist Project Team in obtaining documents and preparing project Close-Outs.
- Assist Project Team in tracking Subcontractor / Vendor invoicing.
- Support General Manager and Project Managers.
- Assist in rolling out new processes and procedures for Operations.
- Maintain Operations filing materials.
- Assist with general office administrative practices to keep work flowing and provide employees with the tools and training they need to be successful.
Requirements
- Excellent written, verbal, and graphic communication skills.
- Versed in MS suite products such as Outlook, Word, Excel. Sage Service Management preferred.
- Excellent Time Management.
- The ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to adapt behavior to meet the needs of the project to ensure project success.
- Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Knowledge of construction principles, techniques and procedures, and the ability to read architectural / engineering plans and specifications.
Preferred Experience
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college with major coursework in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture.
- Previous 1-2 years of experience working with a Service Contractor / Special Projects Team in a similar capacity.

$66,200 - $89,600 a year
The starting base pay for this position has a salary range of $66,200.00 to $89,600.00.* The actual salary offer will be carefully considered based on a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for health, disability, life, dental, vision along with retirement and profit sharing plans. *Please note that the full base pay range for incumbent employees in this position can be expected to fall between $66,200 and $89,600. New hires joining the company tend to be paid within the starting base pay range noted above, with opportunities to increase pay overtime based on development of additional skills, competencies, and company-specific knowledge.
