Service Wash Attendants are responsible for performing the daily operational practices of running the car wash facility. Attendants are to ensure we consistently turn out a clean, dry, and shiny vehicle. Responsible for all other duties as assigned.
Primary Duties
- Guide cars into the wash area with a focused, pleasant, and competent demeanor
- Perform visual inspections of the condition of each vehicle prior to and after sending it through the wash bay
- Be proficient with all policies and procedures and able to perform them daily
- Perform visual inspections to ensure all equipment and chemicals are functioning properly
- Perform regularly scheduled maintenance on all equipment to ensure it is kept in proper working order
- Keep the entire property spotlessly clean and ensure everything is kept in the proper place and organized
- Keep vacuums unclogged, hoses hung properly, and trash cans emptied
- Be polite and available to address all customer concerns and handle them in a professional manner that is satisfactory to both the customer and to the car wash
- Cleans front and rear of vehicle, using correct supplies
- Activates wash mechanism and observes operation to detect equipment malfunctions
- Notifies supervisor when malfunctions occur
- Must behave professional and achieve all operational and service standards

Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license meeting company MVR criteria.
- 6-12 months of previous work experience (preferred)
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
- Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle machinery safely
- Must be capable of driving both auto and manual transmissions.
- Ability to jog to and from the vehicle storage area for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in an environment that is not necessarily protected from weather and temperature changes with exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid or windy weather conditions for long periods of time.
- Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license with a MVR criteria meeting company guidelines.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds with reasonable accommodation, and exhibit full range of motion including standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing and crouching.
- Ability to stand continuously and perform job functions for a full shift.
- Education minimum: high school diploma or equivalent
- Read, write and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older
- Must have clean driving record
- A valid state issued Driver’s License
- Background check and drug screen required (THC not tested)
