JOB DESCRIPTION:

WSI is currently seeking a Service Technician Route Driver who is ready to join our growing team. This position has the principal responsibility of operating a company truck and driving to various locations in order to do any or all of the following: deliver, pick up, maintain, service, or repair portable restrooms, hand sinks, holding tanks or any asset assigned. The Service Technician Route Driver may exercise these duties on a daily route, a daily pick-up and delivery schedule, a yard/shop assistant or during a special event. Service Technician Route Drivers are exposed to extreme weather conditions and unpleasant odors and sights. The hours and physical demand may vary by task. WSI is a team environment and at any time a Service Technician Route Driver may be asked to help in a different department with different tasks.

RESPONSIBILITES:

1. Provides service for WSI’s and/or customers’ portable restroom(s) or related asset(s) by pumping, washing, repairing, cleaning, preparing, delivering, picking up and restocking as needed in field or yard.
2. Operates truck in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies. 
3. Performs & submits daily pre/post trip on truck.  Major concerns should be brought up to the Branch Manager ASAP.
4. Must follow all WSI’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and General Standards.
5. Perform all task assigned by Branch Manager, including but not limited to delivery and pick up of rental equipment, restocking trucks, organizing shop, organizing yard, helping in a different department or responding to emergency calls in a timely manner.
6. Responsible for communicating with Field Service Manager on items that can hinder a job i.e. low inventory, keys, chemicals, supplies etc.
7. Utilizes dispatching software for routing, documenting photos, logs customer concerns etc.
8. Provides distinguishably different level of service through courteous and expeditious customer service in all aspects of operation to the general public and customers. All contact is to be documented with CRO.

DAILY ROUTE DRIVER TOP SKILLS & PROFICIENCIES:

• Ability to read, operate and understand an electronic map/gps/dispatching system utilizing a phone or iPad.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the job (prolonged physical exertions, including lifting, pushing, pulling and climbing).
• General knowledge of mechanics of trucks.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Drug-Free, must pass a drug test if/when requested
• Ability to pull a trailer preferred.
• Waste industry experience preferred.
