Job Description
Service Technicians: are responsible for planning and assembling tradeshow displays, showroom displays, or other client displays for sales and advertising purposes. Displays are designed in the warehouse for shipment and assembly in alternate locations for the client.
Pay starts at: $18/hr, depending on experience and background. The nearest location for this employer is in the South Nashville/LaVergne area.
The Service Technician should be:
- Mechanically inclined with a good construction background,
- assembly or building background,
- and experience being in charge of a team, as they will have coworkers assisting on varying projects in various ways.
- Simple warehouse picking/packing experience is not applicable.
- Experience packing and shipping large equipment would be acceptable.
The Service Technician is expected to work a regular work week of Monday through Friday unless the current project calls for overtime hours from the team. Projects can be local or they can be national, so there may be travel during various times of year. Applicants should have a valid driver's license and clean driving record, as needed.
This position is a great opportunity for advancement within the first year for those who catch on quickly to the high standards of work and expectations of the company and prove to be project manager material. Other future opportunities could include sales and management.
