Service Plumber

We are looking for a Plumber to join our team. The qualified applicant will have a mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills, and will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing plumbing problems in residential, commercial settings. Hiring a Plumber can be an intricate process, and we're looking for an individual who will handle the position professionally and skillfully.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out regular maintenance of plumbing systems at commercial and residential sites
• Perform installation of plumbing systems at new properties
• Inspect previously installed plumbing systems at commercial and residential sites
• Perform any necessary repairs to previously installed systems
• Answer calls for plumbing issues from general contractors
• Keep up to date with current safety regulations and requirements for the various plumbing systems a company installs and maintains
• Work carefully to follow all current regulations for plumbing work to ensure that all installed systems pass inspections
• Communicate well with clients to ensure client satisfaction
• Communicate well with team members and fellow employees
• Manage a work log
• Keep detailed reports of work done at various job sites
• Provide information regarding plumbing system upkeep to clients
• Use a pipe wrench to remove pipes from walls.
• Repair pipe leaks.
• Use a hacksaw to cut pipes.
• Cut the top off the well casing.
• Dig up the septic tank with a shovel.
• Use a torch to thaw out frozen pipes.
• Solve drainage problems in sinks, tubs, and showers.
• Use an auger to clear clogged drains in sink, tubs, and showers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
