We are looking for a Plumber to join our team. The qualified applicant will have a mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills, and will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing plumbing problems in residential, commercial settings. Hiring a Plumber can be an intricate process, and we're looking for an individual who will handle the position professionally and skillfully.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out regular maintenance of plumbing systems at commercial and residential sites
- Perform installation of plumbing systems at new properties
- Inspect previously installed plumbing systems at commercial and residential sites
- Perform any necessary repairs to previously installed systems
- Answer calls for plumbing issues from general contractors
- Keep up to date with current safety regulations and requirements for the various plumbing systems a company installs and maintains
- Work carefully to follow all current regulations for plumbing work to ensure that all installed systems pass inspections
- Communicate well with clients to ensure client satisfaction
- Communicate well with team members and fellow employees
- Manage a work log
- Keep detailed reports of work done at various job sites
- Provide information regarding plumbing system upkeep to clients
- Use a pipe wrench to remove pipes from walls.
- Repair pipe leaks.
- Use a hacksaw to cut pipes.
- Cut the top off the well casing.
- Dig up the septic tank with a shovel.
- Use a torch to thaw out frozen pipes.
- Solve drainage problems in sinks, tubs, and showers.
- Use an auger to clear clogged drains in sink, tubs, and showers.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
