Service Engineer Technician

We are seeking a Service Engineer Technician to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for repairing our customers’ machines (boom lift) as well as performing any repairs or maintenance on stock machines on our lot. You will be troubleshooting issues our customers have with their machinery as well as damaged machines. This may include mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, cosmetic etc. to help repair their Aerial Work Platform. (Boom Lifts / Cherry Pickers). You will perform repairs on-site at our facility here in Greer.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair various models of aerial work platforms / boom lifts.
• Carry out assigned tasks and work orders with minimum direct supervision.
• Effectively document and communicate work required and executed out in the field.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work area.
• Successful execution of assigned work orders as they relate to cost, quality, timing, and customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

​Qualifications:

• Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, hydraulics, and internal combustion engines. Also, be able to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.,
• Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in machinery or other related fields is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment.
• Ability to work bending, stooping, standing, sitting, and lying down.
• Proven ability to accept direction and complete tasks as assigned while working as part of a team or individually.

Salary: $22 - $26/hr. / Depending on experience,

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am – 4:30pm
