BCT is in search of an experienced Service Desk Specialist with exceptional interpersonal skills, articulate & well spoken to work with attorneys, so law firm/legal experience is a big plus! This position is located in Chicago or Indianapolis as a direct-hire and must be able to work onsite.
SALARY OFFERED: Up to $75K depending on candidates experience, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide support via telephone & e-mail for Firm users on software applications & hardware
- Track customer calls & e-mails recording detailed & accurate information in the tracking system
- Assist in training to develop top knowledge in current & new technologies to provide most effective support for request
- Consistently research information through internal & external sources
- Partner in creating reference materials in the knowledge base for known issues & solutions
- Escalate end user issue to whom, both within and outside of IT when needed
- Respond to end user inquiries within agreed-upon timeframes
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate Degree or minimum 2 years related experience and/or training experience preferred
- Law firm and/or legal experience is a preferred
- Experience with network & PC operating systems, LAN/WAN, applications, security & protocols
- Proficient in Windows, MS Office, remote access, firewalls, encryptions, virtual networks, telecommunications & print services
- Proficient in Remote Computing & Citrix experience
- Knowledge of iManage document management software plus other legal software preferred
- Demonstrated experience in customer service delivery & support design
- Ability to apply technology solutions to solve business issues
- Knowledge of applicable laws & regulations to technology issues & data privacy laws & practices
