Position Mission:
The IT Service Desk Specialist I perform first level problem resolution and uses documented procedures. This position provides fast and efficient problem resolution for stores and office employees while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
- Provide first level support in person, over the phone, or via remote access for the In Store and Support Center Team Members.
- Answering phones, service requests, and incidents in a timely manner while providing excellent customer service.
- Keep the team member updated on incident progress and status.
- Assure incidents and service requests are responded to and resolved in accordance with service level agreements.
- Escalate incidents and coordinate with other team members as necessary to resolve systemic incidents.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Demonstrate knowledge of the concepts of networking.
- Ability to perform advanced troubleshooting capabilities independently.
- Ability to manage several service requests and incidents at the same time.
- Have strong communications skills in working with team members across all levels of the enterprise.
- Strong customer service skills.
- The ability to troubleshoot issues while working with end users over the phone.
Education/Training/Experience:
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 2+ years of desktop support experience.
Compensation Range:
Hourly: $21.00 - $23.00 (depending on experience and location) The physical demands for this position are sits, stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during working hours. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
