Job Title: Service Desk Coordinator
Supervisor: Office Manager
Job Summary:
The Service Desk Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the operation of the Service Desk (SD) and all SD staff. The Coordinator will ensure that employees are following all SD and Ascension Genesys Health Club (AGHC) policies and procedures. The Coordinator will prepare the SD schedule and ensure the SD is staffed appropriately at all times. This position will have dual responsibilities as the Coordinator and SD Staff. Hours will be expected to be split between actively working at the Service Desk and Administrative duties. The coordinator will ensure all SD employees provide exceptional customer service at all times. Hiring, evaluation and disciplinary responsibilities will be shared with the Office Manager.
The SD Coordinator will communicate all managerial or operational issues/changes to all SD staff in a timely manner and ensure changes are understood and followed.
The SD Coordinator must be able to work varying hours and days including weekends depending on the needs of AGHC and the Service Desk.
Conveying a positive attitude, exceptional interpersonal skills, high energy level and the ability to communicate verbally and in writing with staff, employees, and members and guests is imperative.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly SD schedule
- Oversees SD supply needs, coordinates ordering and delivery
- Review time clock and prepare payroll on a bi-weekly basis
- Ensure all club schedules, communication books, club changes and daily communication with employees and members is up to date and accurate at all times
- Works closely with other departments as necessary for club continuity
- Holds SD staff meetings as needed
- Trains staff on use of member management software (Club Automation)
- Participates in hiring, discipline, and employee evaluations with the Office Manager
- Actively coaches and directs staff as necessary regarding member complaints and/or issues
- Oversees all aspects of cash handling and reconciliation

Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of Associates Degree
- Minimum of 2 years managerial experience
- Minimum of 2 years customer service experience
- CPR, First Aid and AED certifications (must be obtained within 60 days of hire)
Working Conditions and Requirements:
Must be able to navigate all areas of the facility without assistance and stand for long periods of time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
