Service Department Processing Clerk

Position Summary

The Service Department Processing Clerk provides administrative support to the Service. The incumbent must be detail-oriented and a strong team player with the ability to work independently. This position requires excellent communication and document processing skills.

Essential Functions

Safety Responsibilities

Processing Clerk Responsibilities:

Receive, review, upload, and track all incoming JSAs from the Service Technicians.

Receive, review, and upload Service Call Reports.

Track all incoming check-ins and check-outs from the Service Technicians.

Tracks Service Technicians reports and requests pending reports due from Service Technicians.

Order equipment and labor for Service Technicians.

Approve equipment and labor invoices.

Additional duties as required.

Other Responsibilities:

Sends out Pending Reports Due list to Service Technicians.

Performs general office duties such as maintaining records, manually and digitally filing documents.

Reads and analyzes incoming memos, e-mail, correspondence, submissions, and reports in order to determine their significance and plan their distribution.

Conducts and analyzes internet research.

Trains or assists other administrative or clerical staff.

Provides clients and co-workers with the highest level of service and quality.

Performs any special projects or other tasks as directed by management.
