A role you will love

The Service Delivery manager position is critical in supporting the Corporate Actions Services Department as a part of Computershare Event Operations. By ensuring each event is coordinated and processed flawlessly, we build good relationships with internal and external clients.

The role holder will manage the supervision of the Service Delivery team and oversee the day-to-day activities of a group of Corporate Actions Professionals, Senior Corporate Actions Event Specialists. Manage all stakeholder service level expectations through the responsible day to day management of all corporate actions' services deliveries; Achieve business objectives and overall stakeholder satisfaction through the development and implementation of business processes.

Critical functions and include:
  • Manage a group of Senior Corporate Actions Event Specialists and Corporate Actions Service Delivery Supervisor in two different sites to ensure Corporate Actions events are completed flawlessly and timely to client and shareholder satisfaction.
  • Develops, plans, and monitors activities to ensure all functions are performed on a timely basis and meet quality standards.
  • Continuously seeks improvements in operation of business unit such as cost reductions, quality improvement, and introduction of new services, processes, or technologies.
  • Risks mitigation, determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow for Sr. CA Event Specialists
  • Assigns duties and examines work for conformance to policies and procedures
  • Reviews and revises current operating policies to improve efficiency
  • Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances
  • Facilitate special events including WEB related projects and assist in continuous improvement of CA rejects
  • Researches and resolves problems related to specific corporate actions events to determine the root cause and propose corrective management actions
  • Coordinates with CA Operations Engagement and CA Enablement teams as required to support business unit activities
  • Reviews and approves preparations for new projects or clients
  • Directs employee training to improve efficiency and ensure conformance to standard procedures and practices and conduct staff meetings of operations personnel or confers with subordinate personnel to discuss operational problems or explain procedural changes or practices. Interface with internal clients, corporate actions engagement and enablement teams, and associated relationship managers as needed.
  • Other duties or tasks assigned by management.


What will you bring to the role?
  • Bachelor's (B. A.) or MBA degree from a college or university; or 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Track record in team management. Corporate Actions or Financial Services Experience in Transfer Agent/brokerage industry.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret and extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Essential computer skills include regular use of a computer, including the ability to type, utilize a mouse, and read information from a computer screen or monitor.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word or similar word processing packages, Microsoft Excel, Access, Internet applications and various record keeping systems. Project management software.
