Service Appointment Coordinator

Continental Auto Group has been an Alaskan family owned and operated business since 1971 that takes pride in being an active participant in our community. We are currently seeking enthusiastic, hardworking people to join our team as Service Appointment Coordinators. We provide a friendly atmosphere with opportunities to work a Saturday or Sunday rotation and overtime when necessary. Part-time and full-time positions are available. Experience is not required.

Job Purpose: Coordinate and schedule Service Appointments using multiple platforms (CDK and Xtime)

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming service calls for multiple service centers
• Coordinate and schedule Service Appointments using multiple platforms (CDK and Xtime)
• Verify if parts are needed for scheduled services
• Verify if a vehicle has open recalls, provide pertinent information to customers and schedule accordingly
• Respond to voicemails left for the service departments
• Review online appointments for accuracy
• Route appointment information to the appropriate parties
• Conduct outbound calls for rescheduling missed appointments and service follow up
• Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner
• Coordinate scheduling of accessory installation on newly sold vehicles
• Conduct after service follow up
• Assist management with special projects, as requested
• Duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

Education: High School

Experience: 6 months customer service experience, preferred

• Demonstrate professional and courteous telephone demeanor
• Good driving record
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to comprehend written/verbal instructions and information
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to sit for long periods of time
• Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred
• Punctuality and excellent attendance are required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
