Service Account Manager

Backroad Services is a facilities maintenance company working with national property owners and retail clients on their maintenance needs. Please visit backroadservicesfm.com to learn more about what we do. We are looking for a candidate to manage client service calls from beginning to end. The responsibilities include:

• Collecting information provided by clients and enter into a database
• Reaching out to new vendors and qualifying them to work with us in locations where we do not have vendors.
• Communicating with vendors throughout the life of the service call to manage and maintain the budget, and timeline of the service call.
• Escalate any issues to management.
• Communicating with clients and keep them updated on work order status, this may include updating the client’s digital work order platform with schedule dates and job updates.
• Following up with vendors for schedule dates to ensure work stays on time and continues to progress.
• Following up for photos, invoice and any additional paperwork needed for invoicing.
• Communicating with the store managers if needed to notify them of a contractor scheduled for work at their store.
• Keeping detailed notes and documents of the status and progress of each work order in our database.
• Using all available resources to answer questions and problem solve through issues that arise.

Role Requirements:

• This role includes a lot of administrative work. Candidates must be proficient in all Microsoft programs.
• Must have wifi and a personal computer.
• Bachelors Degree, or relevant work experience within the facility maintenance industry and/or property management industry.
• Professionalism & good communication skills.

Hours & compensation:

• Initial training period: 6-8 weeks depending on experience $22 per hour 4 days per week, 15 hours per week.
• After training period: $24 per hour, 4 or 5 days per week, 30-35 hours per week
• All hours are 100% work from home
• Work hours can be flexible, but typically within the 9-5 business day.

Pay: $24.00 per hour
