Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Provide exceptional guest service, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Bus tables and maintain cleanliness of the dining area
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, wine/beer/sake/cocktails and promotions
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
-Previous experience in Japanese/sushi restaurantes required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Knowledge of food preparation and safety procedures is a plus
