SERVER (WAITER / WAITRESS)- Roles and Responsibilities * Must be 18 yrs old or older
- Providing excellent service to our guests
- Greeting and seating guests
- Taking food and drink orders accurately and bringing them to the bar and kitchen
- Engaging with customers and fellow staff members in a friendly manner
- Knowledge of the menu, ability to make suggestions
- Collect payment from tables
- Maintaining a consistent and fair seating schedule
- Delivering a fun and satisfying dining experience to Guests.
- This Front of House role, waits tables while providing guests with excellent customer service.
Host- Roles and Responsibilities * Must be 18 yrs old or older
- Host/Hostess serves as our guests’ first impression of our restaurant, warmly greeting each guest attentively as they arrive.
- Friendly, motivated and have excellent communication skills.
- Schedule must be available morning, evenings and weekends. The perfect candidate for us is a motivated team player who always puts the guest first.
- Greet incoming and departing Guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to assigned dining area; present menus; announce waiter's name
- Bussing and setting tables.
- Answering phones to take reservations and to-go orders.
- Receive payments by validating credit charges, approving checks, accepting currency, calculating and issuing change for to-go orders
- Manage the flow of guests into the Dining and Bar areas, provide accurate wait times to incoming guests if appropriate
- Staying up to date with specials, hours of operation as well as take-out and ordering procedures.
- Restocking to- go section
- Tidying restrooms and other common area
- Clearly communicate guests needs to servers, management and kitchen staff
- Effectively communicate on the telephone.
BARTENDER- Roles and Responsibilities * Must be 18 yrs old or older
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and stocked with supplies
- Collect payment from customers and process transactions accurately using cash handling procedures
- Maintain knowledge of current drink specials, promotions, and menu items
- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service to customers
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines
Cook- Roles and Responsibilities * Must be 18 yrs old or older
- Prepare food daily, as outlined on the weekly menu plan.
- Ensure an attractive presentation of food on the plate before serving.
- Maintain portion control to meet budgetary requirements.
- Identify food and supplies needed for the next week’s menus and report to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, orderly and safe kitchen environment.
- Ensure proper handling, labeling and storage of food for infection control.
- Prepare meats for storage and portion control upon delivery. Ensure proper storage of all delivered foods and ingredients.
- Coordinate and participate in serving food.
- Notify the manager of malfunctioning equipment or appliances.
- Work with a team to ensure efficient operation of the facility.
- Attend scheduled staff and in-service meetings, as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS-
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for calculating drink prices, handling cash, and making change
- Knowledge of POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred but not required
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure during busy periods
- Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry is a plus
