Server/Counter

Overview:
QB is HIRING!

We need one part time counter/server person with customer service experience (food/bev service a BIG plus) for 3 shifts (average 15-20 hours a week) plus covering. $17.50/hr. plus tips (average take home range is $24-$28/hr. Can be a bit more or less depending on business)+ shift meals and the best crew ever! Must be able to work Thurs-Sun. afternoons and evenings. 21+ please! Must have current food handlers and MAST serving permit or the ability to get upon hire. QB requires our employees to reside inside of Olympia/Lacey/Tumwater area

Duties:
- Greet customers warmly and help them navigate menus
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Enter orders into the POS system and process payments
- Handle cash transactions and provide accurate change
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and server area
- Assist with some food stocking and ensure food safety guidelines are followed
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of orders

Skills:
- Proficiency in operating a POS system for order entry and payment processing
- Basic math skills for accurate order totals and cash handling
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper hygiene practices
- Familiarity with cash register operations and retail math

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
