- Provide prompt, friendly, courteous service to all food and beverage guests.
- Deliver and serve food and beverages, amenities to guest’s rooms as well as designated areas within the hotel and casino.
- Monitors accuracy of the order and reviews the order with the guest to ensure guests received the proper order
- Engage guests in conversation regarding their stay, property services, and area attractions
- Speak to guests’ and co-workers using clear, appropriate and professional language
- Monitor guest room corridors for obstructions, service, safety, and well-being of guests.
- Complete open and closing side duties during the shift
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift, practicing clean as you go procedures
- Notify management of maintenance repair issues
- Complete any additional reasonable requests by management
Physical Tasks
- Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print).
- Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
- Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
- Move up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Minimum six (6) months of related experience required
- Able to work a varied work schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
- Be flexible and adaptable to change.
- Adheres to state liquor laws and beverage control procedures that pertain to serving and handling.
- Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a professional kitchen setting, but there may be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, secondhand smoke and excessive noise.
