Form of workThe Summit Club is currently seeking experienced Servers to provide our members and guests with exceptional food & beverage service while consistently exceeding member expectations. We are currently interested in hiring On-Call / Event specific Servers who will be able to work during peak events and season.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain full knowledge of all menu items, beverage items and knowledge of wines.
- Prepares work area for opening, mid-shift and/or closing duties.
- Prepare and serve beverages including those that contain alcohol.
- Consistently check food orders for accuracy prior to delivering to table.
- Follow posted side work during shifts and during non-busy hours.
- Understanding of food allergies and communicate when needed.
- Follow proper food handling procedures per Riverside County Food Handler Cert.
- Support a safe working environment at all times.
- Keep products well stocked and organized.
- Input all food and beverage orders into Jonas for member accounts to be charged.
- Report to work as scheduled, in uniform, clocked in, and ready to be in position.
- Follow Club policies and standard operating procedures.
- Communicate with F&B management to ensure member satisfaction.
- Greet all members formally by using their surname.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous F&B server experience preferred.
- Current Southern Nevada Food Handler Card.
- General competency with point of sale system, TEI experience preferred.
- Must be able to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with members, guest and coworkers.
- Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to remain on feet standing and walking for long periods, up to 8 hours. As well as sit, squat, reach, bend, stoop, and twist.
- Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50lbs.
- Must be able to work outdoors, exposure to various weather conditions such as heat, cold, wind and rain.
- Must be able to demonstrate competency as developed in the training schedule.
- Must be outgoing, friendly, courteous and patient.
- Maintain a professional appearance and following uniform policies.
