POSITION PURPOSE

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
- Come in with a smile every day and maintain a courteous, friendly, professional attitude at all times.
- Maintain a sanitary work environment.
- Complete opening & closing duties as assigned, including but not limited to cleaning of work area and coffee equipment, empty trash and recycling containers and restock dishware for your area.
- Set up all condiments being used for the day’s business. Ensure all condiments are stocked in adequate supply for the entire day. Understand requisition & stock delivery procedure.
- Set up workstation.
- Prior to opening inspect work area for cleanliness, neatness, and orderliness. Do any additional cleaning necessary to open the station.
- Be familiar with your station’s inventory and accurately report any shortage.
- Ensure food is delivered to the server in a timely manner with all the items in one trip. Assist the Chef in expediting the food from the line.
- Have a working knowledge of all the menu items and what the sides are and the condiments.
- Control inventory following proper procedures.
- Assist Cooks when needed with desserts as ordered.
- Ensure all stock is put away at the end of your shift. Lock & secure all cabinet doors, refrigerators.
- When necessary, assist with restocking the main buffet or satellite buffets.
- Assist with stocking linen in the linen room, folding napkins and other busser duties as assigned.
- Perform opening and closing of the turf club bars as needed.
- Additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be over 18.
- Ability to follow instructions and work with a minimum of supervision.
- Ability to work well with others at all times.
- Dependability and trustworthiness.
- Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance.
- Knowledge of menu and bar items and their prices.
- Knowledge of POS system.
