This venture is the beginning of Watterson Brands’ Moon King Entertainment Group, a diverse collection of thoughtfully curated, experiential venues that explore local history, culture, and cuisine while providing live entertainment and a sense of place.
Summary of Position:
Reporting to Vice President of Operations (Bryant Arns), the Beer Garden Assistant delivers food from the kitchen to the customer in the restaurant. They ensure that each customer receives the correct order and answer customer inquiries.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer questions regarding the menu.
- Deliver food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items to customers.
- Ensure that food is prepared correctly and to customers’ satisfaction; return incorrect orders or improperly cooked orders to the kitchen.
- Collect plates and clear the table as customers finish their meals; set up tables before service with the appropriate tableware.
- Assist with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning the dining area and preparing silverware and condiments.
- Report any behaviors and/or actions that go against anything set forth in this agreement to a manager.
- Report any customers who may be too intoxicated for service.

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position does not currently have supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
This job entails prolonged periods of standing, preparing drinks, and interacting with customers. There is also frequent contact/immersion of hands in water, sanitation solutions, and produce items.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, sit, and stand. The employee might be required to reach, bend, stoop, pour, carry, push, and lift objects up to 50 pounds. There is substantial repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and fingers.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- At least one year of prior restaurant work experience preferred.

Pay: $17.50 - $21.08 per hour
