**Position is contingent upon contract award**
This position provides Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) Level C High Risk Instructors, that utilize role play as a method of instruction, for the United States Army, John F. Kennedy, Special Warfare Center & School (USAJFKSWCS) and is conducted during the Special Forces Qualification Course (SFQC). The SERE C Deputy Program Manager is responsible for overseeing all operational training executed in support of this contract.

- Responsible for the Quality Control Program and act as liaison with Government Quality Assurance personnel on matters relating to contract employee performance and evaluations
- Responsible for contractor personnel training and progression
- Oversee the Training Support efforts
- Full authority to act on the Program Manager’s behalf in their absence

This position has supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of five (5) years of documented and verifiably successful management experience
- Minimum of one (1) year working as a contract team leader at the USAJFKSWCS SERE-C course
- Full certification at the advance instructor level IAW USAJFKSWCS Instructor Certification Plan
- Must be a graduate of DoD SERE Level C course
Computer Skills
- Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment
- Working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (such as: MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, Clearance
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license
- Possess and maintain Secret security clearance
- Graduate of SERE Level C High Risk from any DoD SERE program
- Must have passed a complete physical exam within the last 12 months administered by a medical doctor or physician’s assistant that attests to the ability to comply with the physical requirements of this position
- Receive and pass an initial psychological evaluation that will be performed by the Government’s SERE Psychologist
- Be able to meet drug testing and alcohol – free workforce requirements to include random drug and/or alcohol testing
- Undergo testing for Blood-borne and infectious diseases on an annual basis

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must possess adequate physical fitness to be able to lift/carry 50 pounds, walk up to four (4) miles per day with 35lb rucksack, climb several flights of stairs multiple times during assigned shift, and provide up to ten (10) consecutive hours of instruction. The employee must conform to the following physical requirements to be considered suitable for duty: full active range of motion (FAROM) and muscle strength of 5/5 with strong resistance against gravity and examiner of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee, and ankle joints; FAROM of the cervical and lumbar spine; perform upper body pushing/pulling activities while holding up to 75 pounds of supported weight; perform upper body lateral pushing/pulling activities while holding up to 75 pounds of supported weight; lift, lower, and reach overhead while holding up to 10 pounds of equipment; lift and carry 50 pounds up to 50 meters/10 minutes; lift and lower up to 75 pounds of supported weight vertically from shoulder height to ground, or from ground to shoulder height; stand for 50 minutes with a 10 minute break; navigate uneven terrain, unassisted, for up to 2,000 meters.

Will require long outdoors hours to meet the mission in inclement or extreme conditions. The employee will occasionally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment. During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
