Responsibilities:

- Prints, reviews, and completes all shipping documents and associated paperwork. Completes shipping transactions and reports shipment in system.
- Schedules freight pick-ups and deliveries with carriers/3PL.
- Interacts with Customer Service to ensure orders are processed and customer requirements are met.
- Pulls, preps, stages, and loads freight using pick tickets, RF scanners and material handling devices Loads bulk chemical tankers for shipment.
- Unloads material and completes appropriate receiving documents and other system transactions.
- Re-packages material as directed to meet sales demand.
- Samples material to QC lab to ensure product quality.
- Conducts cycle counts.
- Trained in applicable regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with standards.
- Conduct routine checks of material handling equipment and work area, ensuring that equipment is in good working order and good housekeeping practices are being followed.
Decision Making:
●Must be able to make decisions concerning process and regulatory standards to ensure compliance.
● Time management decisions related to multitasking to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Experience:
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
5 years experience preferred in warehousing, material handling, shipment coordination and RF barcoding preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Should be detail oriented and organized
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to read, write and speak English.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to safely operate material handling equipment including but not limited to forklifts
Excellent keyboarding skills needed with demonstrated familiarity using of Microsoft office suite (Excel/Outlook/Teams/Word/PowerPoint.)
Ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables in standardized situations.-
