ActioNet anticipates openings for a Senior VOIP Network Engineer (Telecommunications Mechanic) (On-Site in Norco, CA. The Senior VOIP Network Engineer (Telecommunications Mechanic)will provide telecommunication system operations, routine operational maintenance, and technical support among all nationwide NSWC sites.
TARGET SALARY: 120,000-158,000

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provides technical support for a wide variety of telecommunication systems to meet business needs. Performs hardware and software configuration and set up of telecommunications components.
- Documents problems and/or other matters of significance, customer configurations, and change requests.
- Supports investigation and resolution of telecommunication network issues.
Qualifications:
A) A high school degree, or a GED, and more than fifteen (15) years of relevant Cisco Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technical support and five (5) years of experience on the day-to-day operations of the VoIP telephone system, including infrastructure (wiring), OR
B) A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and ten (10) years of relevant Cisco Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technical support, and three (3) years of experience on the day-to-day operations of the VoIP telephone system, including infrastructure (wiring), OR
C) A master's degree in a relevant field and seven (7) years of relevant Cisco Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technical support and experience on the day-to-day operations of the VoIP telephone system, including infrastructure (wiring).
In addition to the requirements above, the candidate must have the following:
• 2 years of experience in an enterprise network level environment using CISCO
routers, switches, ISE and ASA firewalls.
• Have one (or more) of the following Cisco (OEM) IT certifications: (1) Cisco
Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Enterprise or (2) Cisco Certified Support
Technician (CCST) Networking.
• Certified CompTIA Security + (or certified per the current revision of DOD
8570.01-M)
