The Role

The SVP Global Partner Solutions reports to the Chief Revenue Officer and is responsible for building and expanding our global strategic partnership ecosystem. This role leads the development and execution of strategic solutions - enhancing Global Partnerships to drive incremental revenue, expand market reach, and ensure partner success by developing joint solutions and go-to-market strategies. The successful candidate will represent Lumen in developing key relationships, negotiating agreements, and empowering partners to unlock more for our customers – more agility, more efficiency, and more innovation. The individual selected for this role will transform our partner ecosystem to catalyze digital transformation creating differentiated solutions to unlock hidden potential through “sell-with” and “sell through” motions with strategic partners, analyzing partnership performance data to identify trends and achieve scale.

The Main Responsibilities

· Develop and implement a comprehensive Global Partner Solutions strategy to ignite revenue growth through a vast, diverse partner ecosystem to scale opportunities for Lumen to connect people, data, and applications – quickly, securely, and effortlessly.

· Achieve and exceed targets for overall revenue and sales growth responsibility for Global Partnerships.

· Lead advancements through a global, diverse partner ecosystem to build and scale sales and revenue success.

· Lead a team of Lumen employees and Strategic Partners to help define and drive the acceleration of joint sales, business practice expansion and the development of unique solutions to help solve our customers’ biggest challenges.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve, lead, and deliver strategic initiatives across the Global Partner Ecosystem team. Ex: Marketing initiatives, Sales Compensation, etc.

· Develop in-depth, collaborative relationships with strategic Global partners to enhance product design strategy and improve end-to-end product and solution lifecycles.

· Work closely with Partner Program Leaders, Product and Solution Organizations to execute across the end-to-end product lifecycle in lockstep with the partner ecosystem.

· Facilitate collaboration between internal teams and Global Partners to seamlessly integrate solutions, fostering an environment of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

· Establish and maintain a partner feedback loop to gather insights and feedback from partners to inform product development and partnership strategy.

· Responsible for successfully identifying, onboarding, and training effective partners, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to sell and support Lumen’s products and solutions. This includes setting partnership goals, overseeing execution, and driving growth.

· Conduct regular market analysis to identify opportunities for solution development and optimization.

· Develop standardized methodologies for partner sales motions that remove friction across the sales cycle, build trust, and ensure partner success.

· Monitor and analyze partner performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and develop and implement action plans to address any issues.

· Manage the budget allocated for Global Partner Solutions and optimize resource utilization.

What We Look For in a Candidate

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. MBA preferred.

· 15+ years of experience in leading Sales teams, with at least 7 of those years leading Partner Sales. Partner Sales experience in a Technology company is preferred.

· Experience innovating and transforming Partner ecosystems to deliver revenue growth at scale - building ecosystem strategies, creating strong strategic partner relationships, and executing to achieve or exceed target performance.

· Proven track record of leading, motivating and developing a diverse and talented team of internal talent and strategic partners to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

· Excellent customer focus, executive acumen, and consultative sales skills to help develop, nurture, and accelerate partner growth, including a successful background working with C-level executives.

· Experience maximizing multiple types of strategic partnerships to grow company revenue such as: System Integrators (SIs)/Service Providers (SPs), Managed Service Providers (MSPs), the Cloud Ecosystem, etc.

· Extensive experience collaborating to design and implement effective partner rewards and recognition to engage and incentivize high-performing partners.

· Experience developing and sustaining a high performing team of internal and external talent, reinforcing a culture that sets a high bar for performance, integrity, and which promotes accountability for results.

· Demonstrates an innovative mindset for identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities and technologies.

· Must have a strong personal drive for delivering industry-leading partner experience and thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with a proactive focus.

· Must travel as necessary to ensure successful execution.
